Assassins In Concert at The Stephen Sondheim Theatre

The original Off-Broadway cast of Assassins reunited at the Stephen Sondheim Monday, May 9th, for a one-night-only benefit concert.

Cast members of the 2021 production of Assassins include: Sam Bolen, Adam Chanler-Berat, Eddie Cooper, Tavi Gevinson, Brad Giovanine, Lee Harrington, Bianca Horn, Judy Kuhn, Whit K. Lee, Benjamin Magnuson, Rob Morrison, Steven Pasquale, Ethan Slater, Will Swenson, Wesley Taylor, Brandon Uranowitz, Danny Wolohan and Katrina Yaukey.

An appropriate place for the concert, as Assassins music and lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim. Book writer John Weidman was in attendance and cast members urged him to stand for applause.

Director John Doyle joined the cast and band on stage. He is parting ways as the Artistic Director of Classic Stage Company.
