SIX, & Juliet, A Strange Loop, Beetlejuice, Into The Woods & More in Times Square for Curtain Up!

The second annual Curtain Up Broadway Festival makes theatre more accessible with free performances in Times Square.

The three day festival ran from Friday, September 30th through Sunday, October 2nd, filling the streets of Broadway with SHO people.


& Juliet made their NYC debut with a performance of "Since U Been Gone," lead by Lorna Courtney (Juliet) with Tiernan Tunnicliffe, Brittany Nicholas, Alaina Vi Maderal, Veronica Otim & Jasmine Joy Rafael.

You can't stop the beat with Kerry Butler's Hairspray medley. The Beetlejuice star originated the role o Penny Pingleton on Broadway.

Antwayn Hopper performs, "My Way Or The Highway" from The Life at the 'One Night Only' Benefit Concert for the Entertainment Fund. Antwayn (Thought 6) is an original cast member of the Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Strange Loop, currently on Broadway. He was recently in the Encores! production of The Life (Memphis).

Staying in the Strange Loop family, Tony nominated-Jaquel Spivey (Usher) sings, "Inner White Girl" from the Tony & Pulitzer Prize-winning musical.

Okay ladies, let's get in reformation with the Queens of SIX. Bre Jackson, Andrea Macasaet, Keri René Fuller, Brittney Mack, Courtney Mack and Keirsten Nicole Hodgens perform, "Six" to open Sunday's SHO.

Krysta Rodriguez is giving us real slipper scene work for "On the Steps of the Palace" from Into The Woods.

Brittney Johnson (Glinda) returned to Curtain Up, after singing, "Popular" last year, this year she performed, "If I Loved You."

It's SHO Time! Alex Brightman & Elizabeth Teeter perform "Say My Name" from Beetlejuice. Plus, they chat with hosts Jessie Tyler Ferguson & Amber Ruffin.

Emilie Kouatchou sings, "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from The Phantom of the Opera.

Derek Klena, Ashley Loren perform, "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge! The Musical.

Talia Suskauer sings, "The Wizard And I" from Wicked.
