The Kite Runner Brings The Bestseller Story to Broadway

The Kite Runner brings an adaptation of the bestseller novel to Broadway for a 17 week run. Previews have started at The Helen Hayes Theater and Opening Night is set for July 21st.

Cast: Amir Arison, Faran Tahir, Azita Ghanizada, Demosthenes Chrysan, Danish Farooqui, Joe Joseph, Dea Julien, Dariush Kashani, Beejan Land, Amir Malaklou, Christine Mirzayan, Haris Pervaiz, Alex Purcell, Eric Sirakian, Houshang Touzie and Evan Zes.

Creative Team: Playwright Matthew Spangler, original book author Khaled Hosseini, director Giles Croft, scenic & costume design by Barney George, lighting design by Charles Balfour and sound design by Drew Baumohl. cultural advisor and script consultant is Humaira Ghilzai.


The Kite Runner is produced by Broadway & Beyond Theatricals and executive producer is Daryl Roth.
